Amelia Saunders is an artist from England working in charcoal and oil paint.
"My work is centred around the portrait, and I am particularly interested in subtle changes in expression which can alter the mood of a painting. I use classical techniques to portray modern subjects with charcoal and oil paint. I use vine, willow and compressed charcoal for my drawings, and a limited palette for oil paintings on canvases which I make from scratch."
