My name is Amelia Saunders and I am a young pet portrait and wildlife artist from England.

I have always loved drawing animals, and began taking commissions five years ago.
For my pet portrait commissions, I work in both coloured pencil and pastel pencil. I enjoy capturing the individual personality of each animal, as well as all the small details, whether this be
the little individual hairs, highlights on the nose or the range of different colours there actually are in an animal's coat.​
About my work
For my coloured pencil commissions I use faber castell polchromos and luminance pencils on Fabriano Artistico hot pressed watercolour paper.
For my pastel commissions and wildlife pieces I use a mix of Faber castell, Conte a Paris and Derwent Pastel pencils, as well as pastel sticks on PastelMat paper.
I am currently open for pet portrait commissions.
